MaureenTHOMSONAged 88 years, of Dalton, formerly of Almondbury and Glasgow. Maureen died peacefully at Huddersfield Royal Infirmary on May 30, 2023, after a short illness. Much-loved wife of the late Ross, mother of Hilary, Doug and Kirsty, mother-in-law of Andy, Lucy and Ian, proud 'granny Reenee' of Duncan, Keir and Bea and friend to many. A celebration of Maureen's life will take place at Moldgreen United Reformed Church, Wakefield Road, Huddersfield at 2pm on Friday, June 30th, 2023. All family and friends welcome, informal dress and bright colours please. Donations in lieu of flowers if desired would be appreciated for Ruddi's Retreat, Huddersfield, with a plate provided at the celebration service.
